ISSUES
What are the issues?
We believe that water is a human right.
What does this mean?
It means that everyone should be given access to CLEAN, AFFORDABLE, and PROTECTED water.
We know that protecting water means protecting the health of all living beings, the economy, and mother earth.
From agricultural pollution to invasive species, and oil pipelines to unaffordable water rates, from privatization to mining pollution, and fracking to injection wells, and more....Michigan is the epicenter of our country in water issues and should be leading the charge in protecting the most precious resource on our planet.
Please stay tuned on ways to get involved in actions regarding Enbridge's Line 5 Pipeline, Energy Transfer Partner's Rover Pipeline, Nestle, the Flint Water Crisis, Detroit Water Shutoffs, and much more!
